Mail Client Configuration

EPESI has an integrated Roundcube webmail IMAP client, a browser-based multilingual email client with an application-like user interface. It provides full functionality you expect from an e-mail client, including MIME support, address book, folder manipulation, message searching and spell checking.

In order to be able to use the Roundcube webmail client, navigate directly to: Menu -> E-mail

and click on the “Please set your e-mail account” message: (option accessible when never configured before)

or go to: Menu -> My Settings -> Control Panel -> E-mail Accounts

To setup a mail account, click on the “Add new” button and fill out the empty fields with the right settings from your mail server provider.

Epesi e-mail client settings using Epesi Cloud or other cPanel configured e-mail provider

When configuring e-mail settings in Epesi under:

My Settings -> Control Panel -> User Settings -> E-mail accounts

and using Epesi Cloud e-mail service or other cPanel configured e-mail provider use the following settings:

Please note IMAP port 993 and SMTP port 465 and IMAP Root must be set to "INBOX." for e-mail archiving in Epesi to work properly.


Note: If this errors appears it means that your settings are incorrect.
Check settings again and especially your login and password.


Google mail client configuration.

To configure Roundcube for Gmail go to your Google Account settings and allow less secure applications.

If you are using GSuite for business you may have to contact your administator to enable this option: control access

Select “Security” and add a new password for the mail app: After naming your device, click on the “Generate” button

Copy the newly generated password and paste it to the password fields in “Mail Accounts” settings:
